2015 was really
a year for Windows. Well, Windows 10 has been in the news all this year due
to its new features introduced to this operating system. In the last week of
July, Microsoft finally launch the Windows 10 and stable the condition of
windows phones. Before the launch of windows 10 operating system, the windows
phone’s market was drowning, or should say they were almost dead in the market. At the time of launch and a few
days down the line, everything was going smooth until people started facing
windows 10 bugs.
By coming
towards the end of this year, the image of windows 10 has drastically changed
from “great” to “not so good” operating system as users have started
complaining about it’s bugs. There are some bugs with this operating system,
although it is also true at some extent that there is no such thing like bug
free software. The ones who have upgraded their Windows to Windows 10 must have
found its bugs that this OS has. As compared to the Windows 8.1, Windows 10 is
quite buggy and in order to be open to the bugs, here are some points that will
explain how does this operating system work.
● Buggy Start menu button
The best part
about Windows 10 operating system is its new and reformed Start Menu button
with easy and quick way to install an icon onto the Start Menu. However, when
you use it, you will come to know that nothing is saved to your start menu.
Moreover, the user is unable to enlarge the start menu with finger as it serves
with both mouse/keyboard and touchscreen, but when the user drag the file and
drop it to the start menu button, it doesn’t work properly.
● Edgy Edge browser
Edge browser is
a fast web browser but sometimes, it stops responding and if you are in the
middle of research, you could halt your search and have to start it all over
again. At the time when the Edge browser stops responding, you have an option
of switching your surfing to “Internet Explorer”. The user might not have a
good user experience with this edge browser.
● Maddening Mozilla Firefox
For Mozilla
Firefox users, Windows 10 turned out to be a bad experience as it doesn’t
support firefox well. While working on Mozilla, the user can find that this
browser runs quite slow on this operating system and might create trouble for
the user.
● Confusing Cortana.. still fighting hard
When it comes
to digital personal assistant, Cortana is still in progress as sometimes it
creates problem for the user while making voice command on it. Depending upon
the configuration of the computer system, the stability of Windows 10 can vary
and the user may find Cortana working. Last but not the least, the user can
find that Cortana is giving you wrong results when giving it digital voice
command.
● Guest account doesn’t perform
One of the best
features of Windows 10 is its Guest account but when you use user-account, the guest entry is missing. In this operating system, the guest
account is turned off and in order to turn it on you have to type lusrmgr.msc
in your search box. Once you entered it,
you will find that there is an option of Guest in the list, simply make an
account and log-out. Now the real pain will start when you enter the guest name
and you will be unable to get into your Guest account. There
● Applications doesn’t work
Windows 10 got
popularity for having “People app” option. In people app, there is an option of
“get social apps”, when you click on it, you probably get to see a message
saying “Your search for “had no results”. This means that it is a bug which
needs to be fixed for the users.

as soon as possible. Although this blog doesn’t include intermittent bugs such
as crash and freeze, otherwise the list of the Windows 10 bugs would have gone
up. Only the unreliable features that could turned out to be big turn offs for
the users have been mentioned, so do not rely on these as there could be more
bugs that can give you bad user experience.

Windows 10 has bugs but still it will continue to be the most popular operating
system for all devices like laptops, phones, tablets, and desktops. If
Microsoft take these bugs into serious consideration, it won’t take too long to
fix all the bugs. Windows 10 will definitely become a reliable and consistent OS people have been
looking for, if all the bugs will be removed.
